Amazing place with free Wi-Fi, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. They even recommended local delivery for dinner during my first stay. I can't wait to come back for a weekend soon!

The room was brand-new & neat with nice view. Got lovely cooked and delicious breakfasts and overall had a very enjoyable short stay overall for one night.

Actually everything was very good, my next choice again in Torquay. I lovely spend 2 nights in Torquay. Loved king suite I booked, it was brand-new. The service was friendly during my stay.

The staff is exceptional, and the owner too.

Hosts David and Alison welcomed us warmly, providing an excellent breakfast and cozy, clean rooms. The location offers easy access to public transport for exploring Torquay.

Perfect for a solo traveler

Had a lovely breakfast every morning, proper fried bread and everything, can't beat it. Plus, I appreciated how Alison was always around to have a bit of a laugh with us crazy folks.

The hosts were warm and cute. The breakfast menu offered a good selection, cooked to perfection and served hot. The room could benefit from better sound insulation, as noise from the outside was noticeable at times. The parking situation was convenient, although limited spaces made it slightly challenging at peak times.

We explored the local golf club and enjoyed a walk at Paignton Pier. The breakfast spread was fantastic and catered well for everyone's needs. The owners were super friendly. The bus stop outside is a plus for getting around easily.

The only downside was that our room wasn't as quiet as expected due to nearby noise, hard to fully relax at times.

The location sits on a busy main road, which may detract from the tranquility, particularly for light sleepers. Though it's convenient for transport, it's a good mile away from the seafront was great. The parking spaces feel a bit tight, which could be a hassle for larger vehicles, especially during peak times.

Clean room, friendly hosts, with a very comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast that includes a fantastic selection of options. The convenient location near the bus stop makes it easy to explore the area.

The breakfast spread was sensational, with options that catered to my vegetarian cravings. Plus, the owners, Andy and Matt, were legends, full of hints about local eateries like Geno's Cafe just down the road. Stover Lodge also had a lush picnic area, perfect for enjoying those scrumptious snacks!

The only downside was the walk to the seafront. A tad far for those with small kids.

The stay was quite pleasant, especially with the amazing breakfast made with care and the beautiful decor throughout the rooms. As a family traveler, I appreciated the spaciousness of the family room and the comfort of the beds. The hosts were incredibly friendly and offered helpful tips about getting to the nearby attractions, with a bus stop conveniently right outside. Would definitely come back for another visit!

The room was good, spacious with a mini fridge and complimentary snacks. Breakfast was a feast, locally sourced, freshly cooked, and the full English fueled our adventures all day long. For a personal touch, Matt and Andy shared tips on must-see spots in the area!
